Summer Meeting Recap
Directors met in Monroeville on August 22 at their annual summer meeting. Directors and TRWEA staff considered policy changes proposed by member directors and set the 2011 show schedule. Management Committee members Michael Yoho and Heather Shrump were re-elected to additional two-year terms.
Directors to Update Contact, Unit Information
Beginning with the upcoming season, directors must confirm that their contact information and their units' information are accurate prior to enrolling in shows. In addition, unit information must include the name and contact email of a booster or fundraising contact for the unit. Updates and confirmations made on or after August 24, 2010 are valid for the 2011 season.

Top Hats
Auditions for the 2011 season will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 12:30-8:30 PM at Blazer's Fitness, 100 Colony Drive, Irwin, PA 15642. Spots available in flag, saber, rifle, and dance - no age limit. Audition fee is $25. Visit www.tophatsperformance.org for detailed information and to fill out an application.

Top Hats are accepting members for the Regional A guard for the 2011 winter guard season. Lessons available in baton, flag, rifle, saber, and dance. No experience required. Registration every Wednesday in September and October at H.D. Berkey Elementary School in New Kensington from 6:30-8:00 PM. Assistant Color Guard Instructor
The Elizabeth Forward High School Marching Band is currently looking for an Assistant Color Guard Instructor for the 2010 season. There is potential for this position to carry over into the winter season as well.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-9:00 pm. Football game attendance is required. Competition attendance is also preferred.
All clearances will also be required.

Percussion Arranger
Rich Zabinski is looking for battery percussion writing/arranging opportunities for the upcoming year. Rich has 23 years experience in indoor and outdoor percussion arranging. Past/current organizations include Kiski Area HS, Centerville HS, Elizabeth Forward HS, East Allegheny HS, Mars Area HS, West Allegheny HS, and the Steel City Ambassadors Sr. Drum and Bugle Corps.
